There is a displaced coal node, hidden and far out of reach.

However when I shared my findings for a cheap laugh, I was met with rather humorless and rude demands that I write a bug report. With one individual even going so far as to claim that I was circumventing the bug reporting system, and doing no one any favours.
Now. I'm sure there exist very good reasons why someone would choose to vent their frustration at me on a saturday noon. But I have no stake in this, and could not care less if this node is ever found again. And after that unfriendly little spat, handing out favours doesn't sound very appealing.
Yet writing any of this would be pointless without contributing to the proper placement of the wayward node. And in the spirit of some harmless good fun, at no one's expense, I have devised this little riddle to describe where it can be found.
Beneath a rocky sky I hold my endless vigil. I sit here, only to remember the great war once fought in this place. Before me stand tall gates, their distant eye meets with mine own. Behind me lies nought but an endless depth, larger than I remember it. What you seek lies west of me, but is difficult to spot with naked eyes. Search beneath the tallest tree, and you will find it.
Finding it with these directions shouldn't be too difficult. The first player to post a screenshot of the discovery here, and listing with this screenshot where the node was found in which area, gets a free Chime of Opening (50 charges of knock).
