-following doomed PCs

Post by Animist »

so it turns out, that you can -follow someone to the fugue if they die, and you do not

I was AFK and in stealth -following a party member for 3 minutes and he died, I went unnoticed but apparently ended up in the Fugue anyway, all accounts say I was not killed in the events

hilarious by all accounts, but still a bug

This definitely should be looked at. It's an issue that doesn't just result in "harmless" events like the one described above. There's a few quite severe ways to exploit this unintended behavior of -follow, some of which could have detrimental IC consequences for factions and/or individual characters.

You can also end up in the fugue by scrying someone who's in there and getting the scry bug where it teleports you to them.
Unless that was fixed.
