Description of Bug Experienced:
Used -investigate on an NPC to ask them what they saw. They respond, but it takes a very very very long time. It also seems to queue up, so if you ask multiple times you get NPCs spamming walls of text describing obviously beefy women and lithe male elves over and over.

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Find an NPC
use -investigate to question them

Expected Result:
They rattle off a list of who they've seen

Actual Result:
They wait for about 15-20 minutes, then rattle off a list of who they've seen.

Additional Information/Notes

This can be slow sometimes but not 15 minutes slow. Did this behavior ever persist or is it back to normal for you? The code is old and could probably use some updating and QoL anyway, but I'm curious if this delay ever stuck around.
