Bard song and Rallying cry take the same channel (doesn't add up)

Hi,
As per title, Bard's Bard song and PDK's Rallying cry each give (at least) 1 ab. When both activated simultaneously you only get the highest of the two on the character sheet and in the combat log, where it should be more.
The fact that when rallying cry is used the combat log states "XXX sings" or whatever hints at the fact that the game believes it's a song, and songs don't cumulate.
