Knight can't reapply Heroic Shield on summon

I can apply heroic shield to a summon, but I can't immeadiately reapply it to stop guarding it.
Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Apply heroic shield on a summon
Reapply heroic shield
Expected result
-----------------------
You stop guarding the summon, while it's still under the effects of heroic shield
Actual result
-------------------
The combat log says it's been used too recently so I have to wait to reapply it.

I took a small break on the character so I can't say when exactly this stopped working, but roughly a month ago or so, this worked like it should.
I'm still able to stop guarding it after waiting the 6 minutes. Also, from then on, I can switch between guard/unguarded right away like normal.
