Club aint great

Previously club was one of the better simple weapons on account of getting ubab. Its now bottom of the barrel, being beaten easily by spear and morningstar.
Its highest tier crafting option isnt great as it requires 640crarting points at DC 60 to achieve a quality (extra piercing damage) already present on the morningstar (which is a 1d8 weapon vs 1d6). This also means you cant even apply the highest tier weapon rune due to too many properties unlike a standard masterly damask weapon. The regular masterly damask isnt even an option for club users.
Club is also awkward as the +4 option in the loot table requires carpentery to fix whereas it is forging to make the best crafting options (along with some confused choices of carpentry for some of the less optimal ones).
Are there any plans to look at this? Im a little reluctant to scrap all the masterly clubs i made in preparation for the keening ceremony but will do so if spear or morningstar are gonna remain better. I also need to decide if i need to rebuild entirely for spear while i still have the chance. I suspect i wont be the only one in this boat.
