"Merchant Ship" (pirate quest) no progress

When trying to complete one of the pirate tasks of "Share and Share Alike" which require one to board and plunder a merchant ship, it does not prompt the first objective which is to "Forcibly board a Merchant Ship".
To do that you have to first shoot it down with a siege weapon of sorts, successfully immobilize it, and board it via the skiff. Which should then trigger the said objective after loading in the tile.
We have raided (please don't let the navies see this) at least fifteen merchant ships that session and the objective stayed like so, unfinished after all that.
This is of course done in the Surface server and I am playing with the PC platform.

Hello, could you try this again. I can't see anything wrong with the quest code and its referencing the correct area but I'm worried you may have done this writ when this wasn't updated but I'm not sure. Try again and if it still is an issue and you can't finish that first Objective, let me know.

Just boarded one after a long search and yes, still no progress sadly.
The last time we tried was with the Warship, this time we are on the Liberator which still didn't update the objective.

Found the issue for this and fixed. Please try again after next reset.
