greater sanctuary is transmutation and not abjuration?

Was excited to try out a conjuration specialist. Ok so no timestop or haste.. so repositioning will be tough, but at least i got greater sanctuary, nope! It is transmutation too oddly.

If we fixed mass haste to be transmutation instead of enchantment, should'nt greater sanctuary be abjuration?

Is it supposed to be abjuration in 3.5?
Transmutation makes sense for a spell that makes you ethereal, unless I'm remembering something wrong. I frequently do.

Sanctuary specifically prevents people from perceiving you. I dont think 3.5 even has an official greater version. that is a NWN custom job and the whole go etheral thing wouldnt prevent everything from seeing you no matter what. If you made yourself on the ethereal plan that could easily be conj/abjuration too. But either way, the base spell sanctuary is abjuration, and it is protection magic and very abjuration like so having the greater version transmutation is odd (and also really reeally bones conjuration specialists who already cant timestop, or cast haste to properly reposition/kite themselves)

*EDIT*

it appears greater sanctuary is based off ethereal jaunt which is transmutation. I still think it would be better to have 'greater sanctuary abjuration' but if we wanted to stay true to the ethereal part then it is transmutation.
