Today's update said the following:

Class Changes
- Ranger
Animal Companion now available at level 4 instead of 6

Upon relevelling to get access to the Animal Companion (my build only has 4 Ranger levels in total) I was able to select an Animal Companion, but I am not able to summon it in game through the radial menu, and I have no feat to access it on my character sheet.

Get to level 4 of Ranger and select your Animal Companion

The ability to summon your selected Animal Companion
