It'd be early in the morning when Chancellor Valoheim, carrying a sailor's kit bag over his bag would drop by a specific establishment in Cordor, out of the way and with a few different people about.

A quiet note would've been left for one Wolfgang Deuernmark detailing thus:

Dear Wolfgang,

I'll be resigning from my Chancellory today and setting out on the Leviathan. I'm sorry I couldn't see you in person before departing but up until I sign the papers, I am still Chancellor and I know you're retired and don't need a herd of folk trying to bother you whilst I'm talking to you.

My main regret is that we couldn't do anything together in real earnest .. spending more time at the Nomad or just go fishing. I've put the Levy and the Navy in good hands though and when the Election finishes, the City will be in good hands.

I am off to Lantan my friend, but if you ever find yourself that way, look for my residence just outside of Sambar, Lantan.

Your friend, old Captain and Sailing Lawn Ornament,
Aloysious A. Valoheim

Note delivered, he'd step away and head towards City Hall and the Government Square, to wait.

Well folks, this'd be the ending of my Carpenting Cordorian Captain Chancellor... (Try saying that three times fast) , Aloysious Valoheim. Started originally at the opening of Guldorand, he had spent a fair amount of time sailing and doing Courier writs for Cargo while also Carpenting in Cordor, until pausing for a time with the character to do other things where I then ended up, alongside Aradin's Wolfgang Deuernmark joining up with Cordor's Navy.

Serving Cordor's Navy, the Chancellory ended up falling to Konstantin Helbrecht which thrust him into the role of Captain. From that point he'd served as best he could in the Navy until Konstantin's death and a new election being initiated , where options seemed grim at least to him so he decided to take the plunge into being a Chancellor.

While he has done his minimum time in the role from my best understanding, I feel a a player as Al does as a character that his time to step aside has come, and it is time for Cordor to have a new Chancellor. The time in has been interesting but I digress, a roller coster.

I would love to be able to mention honorably ever PC that has shined around Aloysious but that'd take a long while and I do not wish to do disservice to anyone by forgetting. That said, I encourage everyone to share their memories be they direct or indirect of what you enjoyed about the little goofball, but please keep it positive.

Regards and I'll see you next time on someone new!

A touching letter. ^_^

I hope you had lots of fun as chancellor. I truly wish Wolfgang had been more interesting to play so I could've kept palling around with Al. Enjoy your next toon!
