I'm not sure if this is intended or simply a weird bug, though I've noticed that traps are randomly disappearing from the inventory at the moment you start the combat (pull the lever) in the Cage.

I've been looking for a source of my traps disappearing from inventory randomly and this seems to be it.

My question therefore is - a bug? Intention? Or something else?

I'm currently having 0 points in Set traps (I'd understand if this was to prevent trapping the cage before fight) and it happened to previous character aswell, who was actually a barbarian.

It's intentional if you speak to the cage master, he will tell you that you can only take one trap in.
