Enchanting qualities on weapons

When adding 2 1d4s on a blank weapon you can no longer add a tier 1 blade rune. The system classes the item now as "Too many qualities/complex to rune".

This kind of removes any use at all for tier 1 and 2 blade runes as things are. As the main use for them was adding a little extra damage to a greensteel weapon in the case of tier 1 bladed.

You could never add a Lesser rune to 2x 1d4 on bronze as that would be a hard 5%.
The greensteel weapons still take a lesser rune.
They are incredibly useful.

Judging by the code, bonus damage intentionally counts as more than one item property when it comes to runes. This is not a bug, nor a recent change. It's been a thing for more than a year at this point :)

Lesser and greater blade runes are far from useless.

Ah I guess it was a bug in past then. As I've definitely been able to apply them to 2 1d4s on a bronze/blank weapon in recent months up till my latest one I was making. If that's the intent it might be worth checking in case something has broken. Thanks for the clarification.
