Maelstrom Pike deactivates Expertise

Description of Bug Experienced:
Every time I attack with Expertise activated it deactivates immediately.
Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Attack with Expertise active with the Maelstrom Pike.
Expected Result:
Expertise stays active.
Actual Result:
Expertise doesn't stay active.
