I started using potions on this character, and the whole time I noticed potions seemed ridiculously effective. It was only when I used them alongside Heal potions did I realize they were healing more than them.

Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Be damaged. Drink cure critical wounds potions. Be healed between 120 and 140 hitpoints.


Expected result
-----------------------
Be healed between 37 and 50ish hitpoints off of the 8d8+7 healing roll.


Actual result
-------------------
Be healed between 120 and 140ish health.

I usually get 70-90 or so from mine, are you a cleric with the healing domain?

No.

8d8 + level. So should cap out roughly at 94.

Are you level 30?
What class and or path are you?
Did you use a metamagic before the potion?

I can confirm that my own character, at level 30, with no metamagic, no pathed class, no LM, also heals between 100 and 130 consistently. If necessary I can send specific classes through a PM.

No Paladin with Oath of Perseverance either?

Some I DMed to Kal, but yes to level 30.

For metamagic, I used buffs at some point that were empowered but then I self-damaged myself with normal spells for this test.
