Blinding Speed Removed by Haste

Blinding Speed haste is still removed by normal haste.
This means mass haste on a party hastes everyone and unhastes the person with blinding speed. Very annoying.

Since we're in that hole ... :D

... Am I wrong to assume that even if the "haste" effect from a spell worked properly and replaced the blinding speed with a spell haste effect, the said haste effect would then be dispellable while the blinding speed effect is supposed to be special hence undispellable?

I'm not sure what was the reason for removing the "spell haste" effect from blinding speed in the first place, but I wonder if it is still of actuality?

Perma-haste is probably one of the rare advantages of going full rogue, and it looks like that they're the ones hurt the most by a fix to an issue I guess wasn't theirs initially.

It seems like these questions are tricky ones to balance and manage technically, so I sympathize with devs who try to handle that ;)

The forums say, about Blinding Speed: "If Haste is cast on someone with Blinding Speed, Blinding Speed is cancelled and Haste is applied"

Which is why I was pretty sure this is a bug, and not intended.

Blinding Speed is being cancelled, but Haste is not being applied.
