Attunement / Select Deity

Can there be a "Are you sure?" prompt added on to the deity selection dialog?
Given it is
1. Select Deity - and lose up to 200% peity
2. Attune to Deity - lose nothing
3. Back
4. Done
Not too hard to make a mistake and accidentally change your deity and then spend five years (or well an fifty minutes) stuck praying to get your piety back up.
It'd also be nice if swapping deity just didn't cost anything, it is an polytheistic society afterall, why does it bring you to -100% to swap to a new one? Would make it a lot easier to help people worshipping odd deities to reconsecrate their altars when they're randomly desecrated (I've yet to see any RP around desecration).

There's a few mechanics that depend on your character's main deity (like doors that only open to followers of X or Y), so letting people freely change their patron god would make those mechanics meaningless.

Well there is no 'cost' to changing, other than waiting 50 minutes.
So seems to me they're already abuseable, if people are patient enough. Perhaps a cooldown of 24 RL hours between swapping?
Or really, let us reconsecrate altars without needing to follow that deity would solve that issue
Really this feedback is on how much it sucks to accidentally -Select- a deity rather than attune, and spend an hour not being able to do anything

One can always donate 20k at an Altar and get back to 100% instantly, 100 Gold = 1% Piety gain. Abandoning ones God isn't exactly what one would consider pieous, hence makes sense to be kicked down a peg.

You're all misreading what the OP is saying. They're asking for a confirm/deny for changing deity so misclicking when trying to attune doesn't happen. They don't want to change deity.

I have done this as well, it sucks when you make that particular mistake. A confirmation would be fantastic.
