So ive noticed we are supposed to be using the -date function for time and such. However the server weather is still tied to the Compass date and time.

hence the -date says its month 6 but the compass says month 1 and the weather is yep Snow and winter cold

is this just something that was overlooked?

Ohhhhhh. So that's why.

I thought our weather is just borked. Didn't put two and two together.

I always assumed it was do to the many plots and threats that have occurred to Areliths weather stone.

That, and precipitation is still broken, where 90% of the time you can hear it but not see it.

The is one of those things where the policy of "FOIG" can be a major issue, because we have no idea if something is a feature or a bug, something we're supposed to be paying attention to IC or ignoring.

This started when the new date function began. Its Exactly 6 months off from the compass to the -date listing.

Where letters and such match the -date the weather never switched from the compass listing.

This has nothing to do with the Weatherstone.

For some clarity for those who are newer, when they fixed some calendar bugs, the player base was told the weather was going to be wonky. We never got a DM announcement to say it was fixed, so "weird weather" has been the norm. It's become more visible lately since the snow and rain are persisting.
