Iron Throne Couriers

Feedback:
The shipping system is awesome and becoming more popular. There are only the following ships available to non-pirates: Brog Penny Rose, Guld Courier 1, Guld Courier 2, Cordor's Rentable, Half-Orc Camp Rentable.

That's 5 ships that are often all owned at once. The return feature for renters who have logged off has been pretty cool, but doesn't work for the Guld Couriers because the purchasing fixture is not on the same server as the shipping system. This means these often get rented 1 time per reset, resets aren't often that much more frequent than once per day in usual circumstances. This means that 2/5 available ships are often tied up by people who are no longer online or playing on them.

Solution:
Move the purchasing fixtures for the short-term leases onto Surface server at Guldorand (City Port).

More ships would also solve problems like scarcity. Why not have some place that can generate new instances for ships on demand?

This feedback is not specifically aimed at any players, it is a comment on the shipping system that currently feels like it isn't working as intended. I don't think I pointed out any players in particular, it purely about the system, but I'm sorry if anyone's feelings were hurt.

I think it's perfectly fair to say "This is happening right now, this is the problem, please fix." Sailing is a hugely popular system and there just aren't enough boats to support it. Both ownable and rental. Losing 2 ships because the ownership signs are on the Guldorand server and not surface is something that could (hopefully easily) be fixed if the signs were moved to the docks which are on the surface server.

Thank you for pointing this out. There is not really much more I can say than to clarify that we are aware of this particular problem and there are going to be changes made to rectify this, and other, issues related to these rentals.

Sadly, I can not give you a concrete time of when it'll be done other than to say it is in the works along with other adjustments and fixes that our great contributors are doing.
