The spell description lies. A LOT.
The range is a myth. a lie. the bolt does nothing.
It states the range is medium. And area of effect - colossal.

Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Cast the spell, aimed at some place.

Expected result
-----------------------
The spell forces will saves in colossal AOE around the bolt's landing place. Failure means affected targets get cursed.

Actual result
-------------------
The bolt does NOTHING. the curse is actually cast around the caster, in what appears to be medium AOE? but it's DEFINITELY centered on the caster

For my entire life i thought the spell is just extremely inconsistent. I was wrong.
