ESF: Necro + That Necro Tentacle Spell.

Hey, so. I just put two and two together, but Kyristan's Malevolent Tentacles becomes entropic damage with ESF: Necro.
This is great because people can't just ignore it with a cheapo potion, and it should now work on undead (I think?).
The downside is, now your own summons will get chewed up by the spell won't they? Is there a way to toggle between negative and entropic, because another spell (divine flame cantrip) mentions the damage type is determined by stream and can be changed, but I can't figure out how to. So I'm just wondering if there's some command for changing damage types of spells I wasn't aware of.
If the spell now hurts your own undead it can be a bit of a downgrade in certain situations. I don't know the solution. Just thought I'd mention it.

That would be amazing if the spell didn't hurt your own summons. Maybe make that an ESF feature only for it?

-1, Evard's Black Tentacles hurts your own summons, Daltim's Fiery Tentacles hurts your own summons, and why shouldn't Kyristan's Malevolent Tentacles?

Well, because it doesn't
unless you take ESF: Necro.
The damage changes from negative (undead are immune to it) to entropic (not immune) only if you take ESF: Necro.
As well firery tentacles do not hurt your own summon if you match the type of summon to the spell in the same way that the necromancy spell is matched to necromancy summons, already.

We can do it the other way around, as in have it as entropy damage and then have negative damage *option* when esf necro is obtained. This way you can always use it with entropy but when you have esf necromancy you no longer hurt your own summons if you so choose (but you can still be countered by a "cheap potion" if you choose the type that preserves your summons better). That would make a lot more sense than this downgrade (which is sort of a side-grade for pvp)

Heeey, yeah. That does sound like a cool idea (:

Bigger porblem with tentacles is that large creature still only get 50% affected by it and bigger than large (Plantshape/dragon) are just immune. One the undead stream (Drowned i think) are immune to tentacles so you can look for that stream and if your summon is large or + the above stated fact is true for summons as well.

This would be awkward for warlocks who cant get ESF but have undead summons and already have an entropy option for evards via fathomless.
