Hello! In Andunor, town criers regularly call out the results of when characters win a cage match. In the same vein, I think it would be immersive and useful both to have town criers in each settlement, surface and Underdark, call out election news. What I'm imagining would be them having scripts to call out when...
1) An election is currently running in a settlement, and who all the candidates are. Something like:
"There's an election in (settlement)! The incumbent (current settlement leader) faces a challenge from (challenger one) of (challenger one's faction) and (challenger two) of (challenger two's faction). Citizens can now vote in (settlement's designated building where the settlement manager is)."
2) A short while after an election has finished. Case one, where the incumbent wins:
"The election has come to an end, with (winner) remaining in office! The people of (settlement) are confident in their leadership for the times ahead."
Case two, where a newcomer wins:
"The election has come to an end! Citizens now look to (winner) to guide them through the times ahead."
Something like that, phrasing-wise.

Re: Town Crier Election Shouts
Approved - but I think town criars should only yell out info from their own settlments - if they are in a settlment. This will prevent 'bloat' in yelling, and also I want to encourage people to visit other settlments, to find out what's going on there.
This too shall pass.
(I now have a DM Discord (I hope) It's DM GrumpyCat#7185 but please keep in mind I'm very busy IRL so I can't promise how quick I'll get back to you.)
