Pale Master - More Uses of Undead Graft with different Cooldowns
It's the first time ever I have been playing a Pale Master and I have absolutely fallen in love with the class. One thing I have found somewhat underwhelming, though, are the applications of the Undead Graft class feature. I've never been fond of save or die abilities, and that is exactly what the graft does mostly, on its 10 minute per use cooldown. Being able to also use it to control / heal undead is extremely pleasant, on the other side. Now, I was thinking if it would be acceptable to add a few lesser functionalities that would be less impactful, but come with a much shorter downtime. Some ideas:
- Add Inflict Minor Wounds as a Cantrip to Pale Master, but it is only available / refreshes if the Graft is not currently on cooldown
- Apply Negative Energy Flood as per the spell at your Necromancy CL, disables your graft for 10 rounds
- Apply Negative Energy Flood, both Empowered and Maximized at your Necromancy CL, disables your graft for 10 minutes
- Apply Harm as per the spell at your Necromancy CL, disables your graft for 5 minutes
- Apply Energy Drain as per the spell at your Necromancy CL, disables your graft for 1 minute
These could be locked behind a certain amount of PM class levels, too.
