Comic Book Fans?

Any comic book fans in Arelith? I've just finished Year Two of the Injustice Run, and now I'm poking through the New 52 stuff to see the latest reboot of DC's heroes (The new "Shazam!" has some funny moments of Billy stumbling through learning his new powers).
In other words, comic book discussion/suggestions!

I co-founded and ran
this [now inactive] blog. My comic-wise interests are, like, 90% female.
I super enjoyed the Young Avengers run recently, and Hawkguy is forever recommended. Huge Marvel girl here, sorry. [Haha! Marvel Girl! I am hilarious.]

If I were to rank my favorites, it'd have to be:
Shazam/Capt. Marvel (Curse DC for renaming him)
Flash (Barry Allen)
Green Lantern
Spiderman
X-Men
For my top five. I haven't delved much into Young Avengers; is it worth a read?

My favorites:
Magician Apprentice
Deadpool
Tellos
Myth Adventures. I absolutely love Phil Foglio's illustrations!
Dark Sun and Dragon's Lair one-off comic books were nice.

Ferret Roll, YA is absolutely worth a read, though if you prefer your comics dark and brooding and hrrrr (though Spidey is in your top 5, and while there are dark Spidey comics...) and if you hate teenagers then it might be worth giving it a miss. But it's great artwork and a great story, and really does show that comic books have come a long way from what they used to be.

I love that Wonder Woman is worthy to wield Mjolnir, in the occasional Marvel x DC crossovers. Also like that they've started giving her a sword and shield more often in the newer stuff. It seems more Amazon-Warrior-ish than the lasso, while still keeping the lasso for the typical truth-telling stuff.

uhuh!
I love her indomitable spirit and the fact that she's scary as all hell. she's the one you call when you need to destroy ARMIES but still is an accomplished diplomat. She was one of my three main inspirations when playing Trynn, along with Princess Leia, and Major Kira from DS9
Edit: I will say, though, that I haven't been a big fan of the New 52 Wonder Woman
