The Amount popup when speaking to a merchant is annoying in my opinion. It gets in the way of item descriptions, doesn't clear when you hit esc, and doesn't even work when I try to type an amount in it to use it. It's introduced a mandatory extra click every time I speak to a merchant rather than any QoL improvement.
No hate on whoever introduced this feature, it just doesn't work at all for me.

This feature is a god-send when I want to buy a stack of 100 zoo or shield potions so big thanks to whoever designed it, however the rest of the time it is indeed a bit of an annoyance because 99% of the time I just want to buy 1 unit from something. It would be nice if it was voluntary command rather than automatic whenever an npc shop window is activated.

I'd also really appreciate it personally if the number didn't revert every time you purchased an item - so if I bought a stack of ten potions, the number staying ten in that box would be great.

I also wish it was voluntary. It’s more of a nuisance than a help and having to dismiss it every time I buy or sell might be causing more work than being able to buy in bulk occasionally saves.

Might be annoying to some, but it's a godsend to many. I'll take having to close a window over having to individually buy scrolls again.

Two things could quickly turn this into a QoL instead of incredible nuisance:
1) If clicking away from the menus (as if to move the character) would close the quantity box? That’d be great. We’ve seen it’s possible in other menu options that have been made like this. It’s frustrating that it’ll sit there forever unless it is closed.
2) The way it forces you to input numbers is often messing up the option we are typing in. Does it always have to have a number in there? When I type “50” what I have to do is type a 5 in front of the 1, then delete so that the 1 is gone, then type a 0. Really basic combinations sometimes take a bunch of Snuggle a Bugbear around to get it to come up, where you’d usually just highlight, type your number to replace it, instead there are wacky outcomes as it tries to limit you to 100 objects.
