Haha, thanks! Believe me, it's taken me a lot of work.
Didn't I draw Kip for you a long time ago? I've taken a lot of life drawing classes since then.

Aww, thanks, Mith!

I've been working in my spare time on painting them digitally. One down, four more to go!

I use Photoshop, since I can adjust the picture 101 ways if it's not working for me. But there's no beating Sai's blending tools and pen stabilizer. Some people like to use both, but switching back and forth between two programs is too much fuss for me. I use Sai when I'm making something cartoon-y and want really clean lineart, like your work. Photoshop is a must for me for realism, because there's so much darn tweaking to do.

I literally do the same thing. I /loathe/ switching back and forth between the two. XD I'm really lazy though, I don't really do realism much myself unless it's traditional work that I can do with my hands, you know? I don't know why, but nothing beats cracking open my bottles of paint and actually doing it versus using a tablet.

Awh, thank you! I'm still really working on it. It's harder to do digitally.

And this isn't D&D related, but some people like it, so here.

Working on a lot, and I've dropped a lot of my old pastimes (aka Arelith and many other video games) to really focus in on my art, and I'm determined to finish these portraits, since digital painting is my favorite medium. Even though not many people know me anymore, here's Francie, probably my #1 favorite character.

For comparison, this is the same character, but I painted her six years ago.

That's quite the progress!
Still, her design had appeal even back then :D

I really like this portrait better - far more realistic looking. :)

Back from a hiatus to play with all the new changes! Here's Dasha, and I'm really wanting to draw more Arelith-things if work doesn't drain all my sanity. That's Darkness, btw.

Great work, *if* you're up for it, we've assembled a team to re-work the entire Arelith website and we welcome any artists to help out! Send me a PM if you're interested!

Thank you! I appreciate all the supportive comments. I've more to come. Theoretically, that is, as 80% of what I do never gets it to the final stage.

I always imagined the Ardath (spelling is hard) duo as a lot more scrubby and disheveled. Maddison, in special, I see as minute and almost ratlike :P
