Inglorious Demise - Kudos from Thrace Mal-Anar

Whew, what a ride. Just over a year ago I started Thrace as a "relearning" the game character after time away.

He has easily been the most difficult character I've made. Somehow making all the wrong decisions for his well-being but maintaining who he was. The time seemed right to put his tale to an end. While I imagined him falling in some grand battle, as he likely did, I'm happy and strangely content with the low-key inglorious manner in which he passed on.

Frankly he had enough misadventures and stories to write a few novels, so we'll keep things short.

I'd like to give kudos to some characters who've been part of Thrace's story.

Nadriandur, a true friend and confidant.

Tera'thiel Eldafire, one of the first people Thrace befriended in Myonian society, a friendship that endured.

Peridan Twilight, a character which had a huge effect on the development of Thrace.

Moss Grimmick, true friend and refreshingly grounded.

Snorri Wordsmith and clan, I always enjoyed these interactions.

Khardar, Gedat Goldenbeard. "For an elf, he isn't so bad."

MANUS BLABERTHIK, Gods, hilarity always ensued when Thrace and Manus were in proximity.

Daak Thunderbarrel, a fine booze-smith and drinking companion.

Roffin Lairmont, A good friend and confidant.

Silavesi, a good friend and mental support for Thrace

Bryan Rook, a great character, one I wish Thrace interacted with more, interactions had were always a pleasure.

Xalden Grantz, stalwart and dependable.

Karathas and co, a big part of Thrace's story for better or ill

The Galincourts, very interesting characters, always a pleasure to work with.

Cirdal Owlfish, great character and player whom introduced sailing to Thrace.

Lalaith Durothil and ???, both characters kept and keep Myon ticking.

The DM's, for allowing me to play a bugged character, the Dwelf, if you know you know.

Vaeryll Aistra, great player and complicated character, Thrace and Vaeryll had rocky relations but he always deeply respected her work.

Lyra Callornodel, what can I say? The one that got away

"Teddy" A fine friend and kind player.

=================================================

And EVERYONE ELSE.

Appreciate you all, until the next ;)

Thrace was a great character, beautifully consistent in his flaws (which were handled expertly). Maethiel fighting the urge to burn his face off in her living room will always be one of my favorite memories of him...next to the absolute hilarity of the Sun Dwelf.

Aww! Lyra loved Thrace, Sadly sometimes, duty is the death of love. Thanks for all of the fun times that we had together, Dwelf Thrace still makes me laugh. I look forward to seeing your next character :D

Cirdal admired the reflection of his own conflicting thoughts in Thrace's actions. A well made and played character.
