If you summon a planar creature that isn't a Celestial, and die, the creature sticks around as a hostile mob to attack your party/whatever.

Extend this to undead summons as well. I can see them wandering on without direction after the master has fallen.

OMG, it's such a good idea.

Hehe, wish casters can let "loose" undead and demons. Planting them to certain areas. But then A balor lord in the kobold caves would be a wee over the head.

1: Summons (Summon 1-9, etc) should not do this.
2: Callings should (Planar conjuration, Gate.)
3: Undead creation spells should totally do this.

4: If you're evil, you can technically "release" your gated balor on the world. All you do is make yourself untargetable (greater sanctuary) and then call the balor without a Pro-Evil effect. Being unable to target you, it will wander off into the world, angry and evil. You can do this as many times as you have spell slots...

But based on the rules of engagement for PvP, I'm pretty sure you shouldn't do that here without a lot of preface RP with a lot of people.

I would love this in a closed environment where only mature people are allowed.

Alas, this is the internet, where players will kill their own characters just to create spawns in cities. (When they really should be giving resources to the local spawns, instead.)
