The Hexblade is set to be replaced completely by the Harbinger last time I checked.
Is the class going to be grandfathered the way other old classes are? IE: You can't make one anymore but old characters who keep the levels can keep them.
While I don't believe the class should be deleted at all, I'd like to know what my options are going forward because the harbinger can't do what the Hexblade did for me.
Well, back when it was released, there was this in announcements:
- Harbinger is available on live for newly created PCs. The team will look to migrate existing Hexblades in the coming days.
And additional note that went around the same line of "we will look into that", but after that, either I'm blind or I don't see anything, or it's not in announcement thread.
It's still on the agenda. We're planning to turn all hexblades into harbingers, just like what happened to old spellswords.
