If you're a kobold and use a backpack model, it will be broken if you change server or relog. The backpack just vanishes and typing -backpack won't make it reappear, instead you need to go through all the options again.
Try the -cloak command?
That doesn't work. This is occurring every log out/log in, every time you change server.
Typing backpack twice should make it reappear.
The issue is the cloak hiding your backpack, set it to style 0 or 1 or whichever is the default to have it not hide the backpack.
Unless this is somehow a different issue altogether, but what I described is one of the things that makes the backpack disappear each reconnect.
