Favored Soul
My suggestion for favored soul is to turn them more to be as their D&D 3.0 counter parts.
Upon selecting the class gain a feat of deities' favored weapon.
Add wings upon level 15 (or level 20) the same as Dragon Disciple gains. This will mark the character as either tied either to good, evil, or neutral on the cosmic scale they are battling for.
Add in the feat for them to gain their deity's domain. Divine Champions gain this at level 15 now. The servants of the deities should also gain this (also there was a feat in 3.5 which allowed them to gain a domain).
