Arelith

Premise:
In a world fractured by war and despair, a disgraced paladin must seek redemption after his merciless actions lead to the downfall of his order. Heartbroken from a failed romance that shattered his final hope for salvation, his overwhelming emotional turmoil awakens a forgotten demon, a fallen celestial trapped in a shadow world. This demon, unable to manifest physically in reality, exists in a dark mirror of the world, feeding off suffering and negative emotions to survive, and is bound inside the mind of the paladin as punishment for his misdeeds by his god.

The demon begins to influence the paladin’s mind, twisting his guilt and despair into a weapon, using his emotions to strengthen its hold on both the shadow world and the real world. To stand a chance against this growing evil, the paladin must confront his inner demons, learn to forgive himself, and heal from his past mistakes. As the boundary between the shadow world and reality weakens, the paladin races against time to stop the demon before the shadow world fully merges with reality, plunging everything into eternal darkness.

I'm seeking a few players who would be willing to RP with me in Arelith in the goal of helping me write my book. I want other people to make characters or utilize their existing characters in Arelith to assist the main character or act as a villian.

I would prefer evil aligned characters due to needing specifically Drow players. But any evil race/character will do. My paladin will need to be corrupted over time. Traumatic experiences and methods of manipulation, and religious questioning, he needs a compelling experience in order to reject his tennants and lose his way before he can begin his path of redemption.
