Of the 6 characters that I have rolled, I find the current system for rewards... can't quite think of the right word for it, so let's just go with crap for now.

Minor rewards on 30 day timer Ok... seems fine.
Normal on a 60 day?! That is just stupid.
Greater on a 60 day. Reasonable, I guess.
Major on a 90 day. A little harsh... but sure.
I can see these timers balanced with the following idea of being able to buy-upwards for a reward.

Minor and normal should both be on a 30, or Normal on a 30 and Minor on a 20 or something... but 60 days is far too long for the disappointment of seeing NORMAL REWARD when you finally get to the finish line.

We should also have an option to buy-upwards for rewards.

2 Minor rewards = 1 Normal
3 Normal rewards = 1 Greater (6 Minor rewards)
3 Greater rewards = 1 Major (18 Minor rewards)
You're still looking at 6 months for being able to buy 1 Greater reward and 1.5 years for 1 Major reward.
This way you can at least see the finish line.

At least this way you know you can eventually make it to where you want to be and not let it totally be based on how hard RNGesus is going to screw you and make you wait even longer to even attempt to try again.

I have only been around for about 2 years and I love the server and a lot of the people I have met, but damn it is so disheartening to have a character idea you can't pull off because rewards are totally RNG based.
