Summon Mount Movement Speed Irregularity

Is there a reason why when I initially summon my mount I'm given a +42% speed increase but when I dismount or change servers while still mounted my speed increase is reduced to +27%? Which then requires me to dismount and resummon my mount to gain the +42% movement speed increase?

Changing servers while mounted is usually a bad idea. It also gives you the -50 armor penalty skill checks (Stealth, Pickpocket, Open Lock / Disarm Traps, and Tumble).

Its difficult to get rid of too. Requiring server transfer dismount, mount, dismount again to get rid of such.

Crazy, I don't think I noticed that before. What I was talking about above though also occurs even if I just summon the mount, mount, then dismount and remount. No server change at all.
