Tarot Project

Hello friends. I am challenging myself with a pet project of sorts. The idea is to make an Arelith-centric tarot card deck that someday I might print out. Though I haven't gotten that far ahead yet. Right now I am looking for inspiration! I am basing this off the Rider-Waite tarot deck: https://biddytarot.com/tarot-card-meani ... or-arcana/ and am only interested in doing the major arcana right now.

I am looking for suggestions, be it a NPC or PC that you think suits the tarot card. It's important that they are specific to Arelith. I don't want to draw Elminster or Fzoul. I am looking for characters specific to Arelith, like King Edward or Amy Silverscales. NPCs and PCs alike. They don't even have to be famous! If you can write why you think x character fits x card, that might be inspiring for me. Screenshots or descriptions of their appearance will help tremendously. If you are uncomfortable posting it publicly, you can even PM me.

Example: "I think King Edward fits Judgement because x, y, z..."

I won't guarantee that this project may ever see light of day, or that I will definitely draw __ character from the suggestions below, but I am very grateful for any ideas that you guys have. Thank you for taking the time to be interested.

Some of the spaces have already been filled. I have striked them out.
Keep in mind some of these have deeper meanings than what the summary says, I just copy pasted from the website above so those of you unfamiliar with tarots get the basic idea. I am not very learned myself, I just thought this would be cool!

The only one that sprung right to the forefront for me was Saorlaith for High Priestess. I think she's the right mix of weird esoterica and femininity to qualify for the card. She's displayed good intuition, but always seems to be holding onto some deeper darker secret.

Death HAS to be Kiravias Vilavan Atravilok. He's the foremost Wild Mage, is all about change and growth, whether through creativity or destruction.

Emperor -could- be that Elven King from ages back. Trin'terin, I think it was. I think he was many of those things to the elven people of the time.

I'm tempted to say Angela Amana for High Priestess, just for ego's sake, but really, I think that one should go to the Seeress of Sibayad. Angela's visions came from her, and she has the withdrawl and silence and intuition.

Vetinari could be Justice, because while some of the more extreme examples of his laws were unfair, they were generally all enforced. When they weren't, there's your lack of accountability and dishonesty.

Aliana Drake could easily be the Sun. Any who know her would probably say that fits.

In an odd way, I'd say Aliana Drake might also be the Fool. She's often been the start of others' adventures, pulling people into storylines. I've seen her sink into despair as well, and want to disconnect when it all gets to be too much.

Natasha for Temperance. She's a balancing force for the Tower, but is infuriating enough she unbalances on an individual basis. She promotes self healing through 'tough love' lessons, espouses patience, and she's dedicated to her purpose.

... Angela Amana could be Hierophant. People come to her for wisdom, history, knowledge of old traditions, and that of older institutions. She's well-studied in the pantheons of Faerun. Freedom is a core belief of hers, has personal beliefs she won't violate, and will break the status quo as much as preserve it, depending on if it harms people. Seems odd to nominate my own character, but it fits.

Hope this helps!

(I feel like such an old fart suggesting these, tottaly disconnected from what are, probably, some characters who are just as good, if not more, on the server. So please feel free to ignore these I'm mostly putting them in for my own amusement.)

High Priestess: Mila Brown

Emporer: Eduard Cordor

Hierophant: Amadeo Pnumea

Hermit: Palas

Sun: Abigail Rayne

Haha, feel free to post for fun, even for the ones crossed out! The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed. (Major Persona 3 spoilers)

Also, thank you for the suggestions so far. Please don't be discouraged to post if someone's posted something before you.
I am reading through everything and am very grateful for any inspiration!

As a note, some of these characters might be from before my time, so if you have any screenshots of them, that would be very helpful.

Cool project! I don't have any suggestions for now, but I'd be interested in viewing the progress and/or complete result!

High Priestess: Saorlaith or Angela Amana
Temperance: Clarissa, npc from the Grove
Hierophant: I'm in massive agreement on Amadeo Pnumea for this one
Devil: Ya'il, I cannot for the life of me remember his second name despite how much we RPed because I suck, but I feel this fits him so perfectly.
Death or the Hanged Man: Vance Gravelle.
Emperor: Falgrim Winterguard

Some really old names here that may or not be remembered, but.....

 Hierophant
Lexi Rae Blackmoor, the old head priestess of Lightkeep (which later became Benwick, then the ruins of Benwick).

 Justice
Judge Carrion, the NPC judge of Cordor. You used to be able to interact with him, sending him a message of whom you wanted to accuse and what for. A mini voting system would take place before a verdict was made. It was the old school solution to throw players out of Cordor before exile systems were a thing.

 Death
Ayin Mesmer. Him being a necromancer was probably one of the islands worst kept secrets. Was a large part of a lot of the changes/transitions the Arcane Tower around the time it was relocated from the Arelith Forest to the Mayfields area it is now.

 Sun
Feste maybe? The hin that started the Meles and badger worship in Bendir Dale (now Burrowhome). I think he has a statue in Burrowhome along with the other past mayors.
Judgement

I'm surprised no one has said it before - Sydney Harrow for The Devil.

The Fool should be a trio of fresh adventurers glancing around with a curious or clueless look, and each one carrying three books.

Or the guy behind the table in the Character Creation room.
