Buff Wizard Infinicasting
Currently, being a wizard is kind of painful, specifically due to arcane flux being infrequent and infinicasting being very weak for the most part. Cloistered cleric is just a better wizard for PvE content (and debatably for pvp - player skill matters ofc, yada yada)
Two suggestions/options:
1. Have infinicasting spells auto-apply metamagics, like how spellbound wands work. If I have Empower Spell, any infinicast spells (whether from specialist wiz, or from GSF feats) should be auto-empowered, like Burning Hands or Magic Missile or even the damage from Daze. Extend Spell, Maximize, etc., also.
2. Add a percent chance to refund spells used that are of a school you have GSF in, similar to Cloistered Cleric's mechanic. It can be a lower percent chance. But something that would allow wizards to... Cast non-cantrips more consistently while out with their buddies, would be kind of beloved. Maybe 45% chance to refund, -15% chance for each level beyond 1st. So you have 45% chance to refund your Shield spell if you have GSF: Abjuration, but you have 0% chance to refund your Stoneskin. Or you have 15% chance to refund your Fireball if you have GSF: Evocation, if you don't have arcane flux already active. Arguably this should be higher, Cloistered Cleric truly gets insane spell refund rates and just outclasses wizard in pve entirely as a spellcaster, and it feels kinda bad.
