Duergar Rothe Roast Recipe - Durzagon can't make it

As per title, herbalism recipe ID 2083 Duergar Rothe Roast can't be made by a Durzagon despite being a subrace of Duergar.

As per title, herbalism recipe ID 2083 Duergar Rothe Roast can't be made by a Durzagon despite being a subrace of Duergar.
I have today confirmed on another cooking station the recipe does not work, even when provided required materials. Likely Durzagon as subrace to Duergar is not treater "Duergar" by the recipe, hence does not meet requirements. That's my guess at least.
I'll leave it to the development side of the house for whether this falls into feature-not-a-bug territory, but be aware that all plane-touched races override the base-subrace for the purpose of racial-locked crafting at this time; it's because of how the racial "layers" are coded.
This is a very annoying limitation we have with the current recipe systems.
Subraces are not considered their base race.
It's a bug, but not one we can fix soon, I think.
I understand, thank you for clarification. Fingers crossed for a fix while I look for retainers to cook rothe for me, lol.
