Winged characters get a significant bonus to climb, reduced fall damage, and immunity to a single spell. While these are nice, they really fall short of actual flight. While adding a widget to fly everywhere sounds really cool, it certainly breaks many things in the game, especially in area design, however maybe there is a middle ground.

I suggest that winged characters get a limited version of flight by giving them something similar to GSpF Trans's teleportation. It would work the same except with some flavor difference:

1) They can only use it on them self, or maybe on another which would take both of them, like being carried.
2) It would only be usable in outdoor areas.
3) It can only go to destination/both way portals that are also in outdoor areas.
4) It would get the animation of flying into the air, like climb and lasso have now, and landing at the portal.

This would be balanced because everyone already has lenses or Trans focus, and the winged characters would still be able to use those, but this would add flavor.
