The Wanderer's Ring - I think it is better without permanet light

The wanderers ring gives bonus level 1 - 4 spell slots to wizards, but it also has a permanent blue light spell (20m).

I think the lighting around your characater notably alters the mood - I often want light of some color, but not always.
Because of that, I've never used these rings, even though I just found a wanderes ring and the spell slots would be neat.

I would prefer that this ring had the ability to cast light at least once per day.
Though I don't know if that is what most think.

Edit: Unlimited casts of light would also be decent .

If you cast light it should be brighter than the rings and override the color.

I know it can override the color, though I thought it would be of the same brightness.
Anyway, it does not allow for no light, which is why I have never used this ring.
