After today i had it. Just a few words. And then charge into an atack? Wher is the RP gone? I say ex bante. Directly get a beatdown? And then DM's siding with them? Yeh good luck with this Shity server every one. This place is rigged as manny said. Some peopel have to much DM controle with them here on the server. To manny DM Buddies here. I am now sure of it. I say bye bye! and i never return! Crazy server. Only branded to hurt people. Ther is no Fun here anny more. Now i also understand why so manny left already and did not return.
Dedicated player for 9 years here. The past year. This server when from Crap to a Shit holl. Good luck with running this bearly standing server.

Although its probably recommended no one reply to -this-, in the servers defence, I always got the feeling that it was never about RP for you. You seemed to go around from one person to another throwing tantrums and causing trouble. All of that is well and good if you take what you give and accept that you cant live a cheery life IC by acting that way, but after hearing of combat logging and OOC threats to other players and some people having nothing but trouble from you, -this- doesnt surprise me.

From me? Hahahah. People had great fun with me. Gave them every thing they needed. Showed new places to new players. I was quite active. Dunno who you are, But you never had the chnce to know me XD I runn my own company that needs more attention then this server. Course. Trouble makers i Made. Like Mondéro And Gruakos. But i also had Decent Strong players. I played the roles they had. But I noticed its more about PVP lately here in the game then it is realy about RP. I and Several others already wanted to change that on the server, And have made more friends then i could immagine on this server. FB increased with friends from here, People leave couse the lack of real communication, And real RP. Like i said. I have been on the Server for 9 years. I have seen he server change from A good server to a PVP crap RP server. The last moment was not agreed. That guy came out of nowher. Say'd two lines. And bashed. I don't find that RP, But. Game is deleted. So won't trouble you anny more eh? Have fun peeps with the House in Guldorand. Will come up for sale soon. And you will find great reasure in ther. REal History that is made on this server. I changed a lot, Guldorand was one of my Master pieces that i did some work with Other places to change it to what is now. *pat pat* Believe what you hear. I was one of the moost decent players ther was. I have even know The RP pvp Batles that wher on the server. that no one do's anny more. Just charge and bash. Meh. Not my style

From what I watched, Pert refused to remove his wards for one member of the Zhentarim. The Zhentarim presently control Wharftown (oh, it hurts Astarial to say that so badly!) and then the commander came up and told Pert to remove his wards.

Pert refused. Again.

Pert being a former Banite, I must assume you know a bit about how Banites operate.

So I must ask, as a player of a (former) Banite, if you run the city, give someone a direct order, and they refuse to follow orders in a Banite/Zhentarim based social structure... isn't the expected response to gut them like a fish?

Because I totally thought you were down to fight when Pert refused a direct order from the Zhentarim commander.

Like i said i don;t care. Good luck peeps. game is deleted and cd's with key's trown in the thresh. time to focus on the Real world. Instead of hiding behind my pc on this server and geting fat.

Shame you're going, especially over a single pvp death and especially in the fashion you're making yourself go in but that's your choice.

I must fully agree with GreatGospel.

Last year was one of the most fun on this server. DMs are at their best. Losing is also fun. Your killing RP wasnt also on the highest perfect level. Your char killed my char few times without big reason and that's the part of the game, ofcourse killing others may be more fun than dying. Open PvP is part of it.

My advice would be taking a break for a year or two, and then see about getting motivated to Roleplay again.
That's what I did years back, although I wasn't aware of exactly how clouded I were by emotions back then.

I'll bid ye farewell for now, but I'm going to expect you to come back eventually.

When all one does is try (and fail, 90% of the time) to killbash with minimal RP, expect that eventually it will come back to them. Sucks that you have to throw thinly veiled insults at people in a forum tantrum because you died in a children's videogame from thirteen years ago.

I am a bit suprised at the lack of consideration being tossed perts way. I always enjoyed my interactions with him. I thought he was a good asset to the server. Having said that, it was clear his post came with strong emotions tied to them and that can be dangerous for everyone. I think if people vent frustrations and are met with hostility though, we lose even more than a good roleplayer. Pert I hope you do calm down and dig those keys outta the trash some day. We all know how bad RL sucks. Its why we spend so much time here afterall If it becomes to much for you(RL), Arelith will be here waiting to carry you away from all that drama.

The vent is not really about Pert or any of his other chars. It's the way he took this to the forums and... well read what he said about the server and some people. Naturally if you throw rocks at a crowd of people some of them ar going to throw a few back.

I say this without making any judgement on him mind you. I am not going to get into another argument about who did what where.

Hm Niekander, I unertand your point. I dont know if I agree with you. I must say that if you leave, we will miss the RP. we had hours of fun. Thanks for that! I hope you pick the cd's and the keys out the trash and lay then on the shellf, maybe for a year or so...... and reconcider .....
think of the fun we had also.

hey, i've never met you in character (or out of character that i know of, but if you've been around as long as you say, then it's simply a matter of not knowing eachother's old playernames) so i'm not really a part of the conversation, but i figured i'd just say:

i know how you feel. i've played on this server an awful long time (more off than on, lately). sometimes the community seems to be a little toxic towards people not in any particular cliche, and there is (or certainly was) a definite issue with DM buddies that end up destroying a lot of fun for those not in said cliches.

that said, it's ok to take a break (or quit). i used to play almost every day until i got frustrated with how things were working. now i play once or twice a week and never get involved with ongoing RP and i'm honestly having a lot more fun. Sounds to me like you're upset with something and you're going to go do real life for now and that's great. but if you ever want to come back, don't stop yourself because of a few bad experiences. arelith is pretty awesome. even if you only had a couple of buddies (sounds like you had more!), they'll miss you. and you can always come back.
