Also known as "light of my life spoiler cuts". They are a pretty basic website thing (like, Livejournal even has them) so it's likely possible.

Ye Olde Forums had a drop down box for the url tag that filled in the information and formatted it correctly. That would be a handy thing to have for url, indent, and rimg, but probably also requires work.

Can we get a bigger limit on avatars? All of mine are at least 20kB

I like small avatars for the same reason I like the no banners rule. Less unnecessary loading time.

It's okay to have image heavy threads, because they can be dodged, but I wouldn't like to see every thread bogged down by a stream of large animated avatars.

I must be doing something wrong then because my 100x100px avatar is just two colours (black and white) and static, and is still too big?

Skype me your avatar and I'll look at it.

It's probably a high quality gif. You should be able to use an online gif reducer to drop it to a more appropriate size.

I am not a fan of large avatars. But then, I view the forums a lot while travelling on a 3G data connection, and large avatars slow my browsing down a lot.

Just make your image smaller by saving it as lower quality

You may notice, that next to your User Control Pannel is now a link to an IRC chat. Sadly, Freenode does not support direct PHPB33 integration. At some point, if I am really ambitios, I'll likely turn that whole thing into a shoutbox. But... not tonight.

Anyways. For now, there is the IRC link up there .. of course, the freenode thingi is right now still working, too (especially since the freenode one has the wonderful bot datum and liopia with access to quite a few little nifty things ... So ... take your pick. It'll change into a shoutbox at some point anyways
