I joined Arelith again last week as Sephie, so here's a sketch of her!

I love the style, nice and simple. The outfit sort of reminds me of the nomads from the Russian Steppes during the time of the Romans.

That's an awesome sketch! Poor Sephie looks exceptionally innocent there, so perhaps we're looking at a pre-Sewers rendition?

Or I just like cute and innocent?

Thank you ^_^
Got another one for you, this is my take on Liz (I will be revisiting all characters, so let me know if you see her differently for next time):

You know what I've been doing for 2 1/2 years? Final Fantasy 14. The RP'ers there think they're RP'ing, it's adorable.

Let me know what to change for the next time I draw Liz. I <3 Liz ^_^

Replying to your comment again because I just want to reassure you that I will be doing other takes on all these characters, you're probably right that I could use a little more seriousness in Sephie's demeanor, it's difficult to achieve the right feeling. My current avatar (from this deviant:
http://marioteodosio.deviantart.com/art ... -292819299 , not my work) is what I'm taking inspiration from/shooting for in the long run.
Next up: Sephir and Valav
As always, tell me what to fix for the next iteration, I expect to revisit most of these characters.
ADDED:
Nikki (having trouble getting a good Nikki design that I like, but maybe I could get some advice on this one?)
ADDED:
Macy

These are pretty fantastic, not gonna lie. Nikki looks about how I imagined her to look.

I don't need reassurance, Met. You're doing awesome work! My sketches stopped developing at around stick-figure level. Valar and Sephir look brilliant - I've not run into Sephir in-game (yet!), so I can't really say how well it matches - but Valar looks spot on. Rambles like a poet, that one.
Nikki and Macy don't seem to be displaying for me. I'm super flattered that you'd take the time to draw her, though. No-one's ever done something like that for one of my characters. Thanks so much!

Oops!
...I tried a fix, go look and let me know if it still isn't working.
Today, I'd like to post a photo rather than a drawing. This is my cat:

You encounter a giant ball of yarn. Roll for initiative.
Your drawings make me want to retake figure drawing classes.

All these Metz sketches remind me of the old days. Metz do you still have the sketch of the random ice giant attack in Cordor? That one was just epic.

Wow really? For reals, I will draw her again better. Glad you like this first attempt!
Next character sketch I forget his name, sorry! Someone help me, I can't believe I forgot...Swordsman, super strong, carries lots of swords. I want to say it was something like Ildur or Ingur or Id--something...Avatar shows a hood. Will update once I get the name.

This is Sephie in a dress, as you may see serving tables in the Nomad.
I am practicing some painting technique, I usually rely heavily on line-work, so I'm kind of new to this. I'm pleased with where it's going but I know I will improve

Wow, Metz, havent seen you do one with that kind of color before. I love how the blend of new paint technique molds together with your distinct art style. Looks really good.

Woah, Met, that last one looks incredible! I love the detail you've managed to get into the fall of the cloak - fabrics are a real pain to get right. That's awesome stuff. Nikki looks great too, almost how I pictured her (she's a little more dirt-stained and paranoid now, but I expect Arelith does that to
everyone.) Thanks so much for drawing her.
I've got... Several questions regarding that ice giant.

I will defintely incorporate this next time.
Commissar wrote:I've got... Several questions regarding that ice giant.
I believe this was a DM'd event, where Cordor was attacked, and as usual, I ended up dead--Not by the ice giant, but rather by a player character's misuse of an AOE spell.
New Art!

Might have been a DM misclick too. And judging by the evil demeanor of the wizard/sorceress who casted the confusion spell on Antonea and Kaleb, I doubt it was an accident. Still, great RP came from the shame of Kaleb confusedly cutting down his own friend.

This one is pretty damned great.
