Man, Azuzu's life and career has been a trip. It's going to take me a while to stop dropping Sumerian into conversations (and I am perpetually thankful that everyone either put up with it or asked for translations). I've had fun, I've had tears (and breaks), all-in-all I've had a good time. I hopefully improved from back when I played Amelia Selana (for the benefit of those who didn't know the apparently-open secret), though that's better judged by others.
There's a LOT of people I would like to give props to, but I'm going to (try and fail, evidently) limit this, otherwise you'd be here all day reading it, and no one wants that. Suffice to say if I've RPed with you more than once (barring circumstances of character death and/or my absence), I enjoyed it

So...
Andunor.
Where she started, developed, and flowered into a power in her own right both religious and political, Azuilah's time in Andunor was eventful, to say the least. The Sons (you know who you are) laid the basis for a lifelong roleplay avenue and reasoning, and the Outcasts that grouped together and flourished were a great little bunch, supporting each other ICly and moral/emotional support OCly against the fury of resistance to change. Nekonecro (Ann) and Kuma (Merovech) in particular saved me from having a meltdown and in the end helped me to realise that getting away from Andunor was for my own sanity.
There were a few Andunorians that I won't name (for their own protection, since many of them are still around) that made it memorable and fun - they also know who they are. Secret meetings, battles, assassinations, political intrigue... it helped me extend my stay with excitement and looking forward to these interactions! I was very happy (and amused) to see that up until recently, her altars were still in use in the Sharps Temple

The Harpers - this faction found a grudge and a lifelong umbrage from Azuilah from the day she was shot and jailed just for delivering a message!

And most certainly one of the biggest facets of her Andunorian life and afterward - Azuilah's servants. You guys are the best. It was a rocky start as I tried to get my bearings and make the RP as fun for you as it was for me, and I did fail in that from time to time - for that I apologise. I tried to do my best, and I can only hope that you had fun too.
Nathaniel, Oliana, Mara, Rydriana, Taline, Garrux, Sedric, Davlamin, Bork, Manobi, Kaxandra, all the slaves that Azu bought and freed or traded to Surfacers, and last but NOT least, Martin. There's reams of compliments I could say about you all for jumping into slave RP in the first place (I'm sure I'm not the only one that heard about slaves perma'ing rather than continuing under the yoke of their more-brutal owners), but what I can do is thank you for taking that leap, and I hope you're all having fun wherever you are. You were large influences on her character development.
Roman-style servant-slavery is not a thing that many slave-players realise is there, but now - and I hope for the future - Sibayad is the (slightly more) peaceful method to slavery that Andunor is not. Maybe we'll even get a Clamper/Caller/slave ship deliveries eventually!

Last but not least, Cordor. The strange and hilarious turn of events that led to Azuilah gladly agreeing to vassal the Sharps to Davit Heth, the man she was courting, as a final thumbing-of-the-nose to Andunor was a very interesting turn of events! Conflict, gnashing of teeth and wailing of the downtrodden and a two-year-long preparation (and some very fortunate events that gave us a new base) to Get The Hell Out Of Dodge culminated in some great RP all round. Don't upset the Azuzu!
And then, Sibayad and Sencliff.
I'd never been inside the Sencliff Institute before bar one incident, and I am so glad that events conspired to get us there. It was great! Settling in and defending our borders against the wrath of the Underdark (and of the previous occupants) was tense and wonderful. It was tiring, sure, but I can't deny that it was exciting and fun to see who would try to get to us next. Meetings and plotting and violence and occasional holding people up by their ankles (hi Manobi, sorry Manobi) or their shirts to get them to stop fighting as much ("Grr! You Drow. Me Human! Grrrr.")
Sibayad turned into Azuilah's pet project, the child she would have always preferred, and she took the helm of it with only a little trouble and opposition. It was difficult at first, but I am very grateful to all the players that have taken the opportunity to make Sibayad their home and made it much busier than I ever could've done on my own! Snagging the Sea Leopard certainly helped... and props are due to Penerith and Sol, who did a massive amount of diplomatic manoeuvring and legwork on the ground for the benefit of the Oasis in the past few months, as my own health has deteriorated and I've not had the energy to keep going. The events have been fantastic, I'm immeasurably grateful, and content to leave it (mostly! Azuilah is a hoverer) under Pen's watchful care.
A few memorable mentions:
Roland Asen - You're a metric ton of prat from time to time, but if it weren't for you badgering me I wouldn't have come back, let alone made her. So thankyou! Roland is indeed a child with a penchant for genocide and vampires.
Ann Thrule - Besties in the alignment of Pragmatic-Evil. If it wasn't for her, Azuilah would've left long ago. The Military to her Economical, they were a fantastic team in Council and beyond.
Judith Feathermayne - Scarring up Crazy, sorry not sorry we nicked Sencliff from under you <3
Rosenkranz Ezekiel - Handles!
Martin - So happy, so Profitable
Annette de Lussan - Wrangling the consequences of Insane Adoration with patience, violence and grace.
Toad McBanner - Victim of the longest con.

Lucia Malveaux - Insanity Incarnate, but violently protective and someone Azu (and I) will miss RPing with dearly. That was some character development!
Penerith Silaya - Pragmatic and witty, for an elf...
Terry - We still have your laboratory. Come baaaack!
Ahriman Temeluchus - Friends, Foes and Fun!
Davit Heth - Bismarck and Urbat's unrequited love will not be forgotten. Damn you Ossian!
Amadeo Pneuma - Always there. Always EVERYWHERE
Fenix the Hiver - Nose to the ground!

Sol Eztise - Tolerating Untheric Rambling since 2015
Azyrah Melharoun - Boop dat Thayan nose
Manobi van Aelios - Hilarity piled in with wizardly madness. Owning an Archmage was an experience.
Crinukh - Sibayad's Kobold Bard for life!
I'm really happy to see the new Dev team revitalising the server, and I can't wait to see how much awesomeness has transpired by the time I come back on a new character fulltime.
I love you guys. Salamu, ladies and gents!
P.S. I asked a friend of mine (he takes commissions) to paint Azuilah, as I get paintings of those mains I have spent years playing. It's become a nice habit

Here she is! (Someone done pissed her off. Sit down, fool.)
