Searching the Old Forums, the Wiki ...

The old forums, the wiki, the game-server etc. got their own search.

But if you (like me) don't want to repeat your search, make a quick search in the pages Google indexed from all of them - at the same time.

Let's say you wish to search for Phrasebooks. Use Google, and type:

phrasebooks site:arelith.com

This will search pages like the old forums, arelith.com/forum, wiki.arelith.com, and in theory also the new forum, forum.arelith.com - but for some reasons, it doesn't seem to include the new forums. If it did, you could make a search in those as well. At the same time

Note that it's not 100%. If there are pages, Google didn't index, you miss those. And no, I have no idea how much Google Indexed. But somewhere between 10% and 95% is a good guess

;)

The new forum is new. Google may not yet have it indexed?

Yes. I wonder why. Because Google for sure found the link. You can see that when you do the search:

info:forum.arelith.com

But if you click where it tells how many pages Google indexed from the site, Google only indexed three pages: Index, FAQ and rules.

Contrary to when you do the search:

info:arelith.com/forum

And again check how many pages Google indexed, it's several thousand pages.

Same for

info:wiki.arelith.com

Where you get about 1.000 indexed pages.

Google is slow?

Basically by following links. Links found on pages, known already to Google (unless the website owner put the pages on noindex). And Google DID find the new forum. Now, logically according to Google, it should start following all the links on the three pages it found. I just can't see that Google did that. So far. But maybe it's just a question of time?
