I just want to say that seeing multiple drow warriors dressed in uniformed armor all together is an awe inspiring (and frightening) sight! -this is something I've been trying (unsucessfully) to inspire in Myon, but dag-nabbit, too many chaotically aligned elves want to wear whatever the #$%@ they want. -and even the ones who are half-willing to RP a uniform everyone wants the uniforms modified to fit their own designs. LOL
Glad to see that I'm not the only one who digs military-uniform regulation RP, though, and big Kudos to y'all.

Re: Big Kudos to The Drow Legion
Its funny you say that, because the only uniformed drow are Xun'viir. It just happens that our house makes up a very large part of the legion. XD
Plays: Durvayas(deleted), Marco(deleted), Hounynrae(NPC), Sinithra Auvry'ndal(rolled), Rauvlin Barrith(Active), Madeline Clavelle(Shelved)
Re: Big Kudos to The Drow Legion
And i bet they wear one single uniform everywhere, while sharwyn basically said wear outside whatever you want, but forced us to carry useless pieces of gear for ceremonial purposes

Re: Big Kudos to The Drow Legion
I couldn't require everyone to always wear the same thing out and about because in order to get the FULL tabard-look you need medium or heavy armor.
But when y'all gather together, all the sentinels dressed the same, and all holding the same shields and spears, it looks really REALLY awesome! -originally the idea of the Sentinels WAS to have every sentinel look the same, but the Boss said no. So the compromise was a set uniform for ceremonies and events in the city.
it's kinda sad now to see the Sentinel Dress Uniform start to dither away, as folk add their own personal touches to it to try to be individualistic. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!
