Phaerlyn De'lyl (Xun'viir) was rolled today. She was a good deal of fun and the experiences in the UD were different and interesting. She sails for different shores to meditate, to compile her own thoughts on the 'Drow condition' and to meet certain departed friends. Now that she is gone, I would like to thank in no particular order...

Valyrr Xun'viir- Levelling buddies and so, so many adventures together. Valyrr was a bloody unicorn and he and Phaerlyn worked well together, with her being perhaps the single female he genuinely respected. Loved the introspective talks, and trying to save Valyrr from one gruesome fate or another.

Eisvoli- Briefly present, but never forgotten. He helped Phaerlyn define a lot of her viewpoints that stuck with her, and an insight into Surfacer Banite thought processes was welcome.

Talyrrae Xun'viir- Roller coaster of a ride. From distant dealings as underling and matron to more equal ones as Veldriss and Matron, and the flip flops between intimacy and distance, and their conflicting viewpoints of Order and Chaos at all points...just a joy to interact. I suspect they'll miss each other.

Wheua Xun'viir- Wheau lad. They were so different and opposite that they actually liked each other after a fashion, towards the end. Wish we played with each other more!

The children- Ilpharaeyl and Xullthrae ended up taking on a lot of their teacher's personality traits, which is just the biggest kudos you can give someone really. Thank you both, and hope you two continue to make waves.

Rauvlin- "I doubt you will be able to walk after this." Crazy drow sophomore girl, love ya.

Xun'viir et al. (Jezrala, Kylar, Xulric, Shairin, Talassyn. More I likely forget.)- You do you, keep being great.

Ardultana- Wish we interacted more.

Vacazays (Annever Caul)- Commissar is always superb, and these two were likely the oddest master-slave duo to grace the Underdark scene in some time. She's likely headed off with Phaerlyn, however. God bless.

Eldwyn Leofricson- A few tense encounters really highlighted the personality traits of both of them. You got a good thing going there, keep it going.

Siegfriedr Haraldrson- Shit's on fire yo. Sieg is a very complex personality and an oddly compelling force, which gets him into both trouble and great riches.

Celendil Silverspear- She'll no longer be your boogeyman, waiting to punch you.

Ilmryn- AHHHH SORRY. The Drow James Bond. <3 you, and P will be seeking Ilm out.


And I no doubt forget a few people, So this shoutout goes to them. Thank you for roleplaying with clueless-about-UD-lore me and not killbashing me on the spot for being so ignorant. <3 you all, hope to see you on something new!

I drow-n't believe this day has phaenally come. Thanks for all the fun times, and for not throwing Vaca to the dream-hungry fey that plagued her every step. Phae was an interesting character, and never quite turned violence against the odd little slave - which she appreciated. In her own odd way, she considered her very much a friend.

She'll absolutely be coming. If only to watch the Phae/Ilmryn drowmance unfold and consume Ilmryn's poetry in lieu of food.

Sad to see her go! Hopefully her melancholy dissipates on far away shores!

Fun while it lasted. Wish I could've made something I stuck with while she was about.

It has been a long journey all the way from the early days of geeking and teaching about ki to a slow, sometimes awkward and even difficult courtship amidst Andunor's difficult climate. This great journey culminated in an ending for my own character a little over a month ago with a wonderful feeling of closure and now for yours. For these good times, happy memories and the spectacular roleplay, I'd like to express my gratitude once again. Thank you.

I feel the greatest thing you did as a player was to allow others to shine, to give them the spotlight and to greatly enhance their roleplay. Most important of all, you retained Phaerlyn's character and unique personality in doing so. She was a much greater character for all the courtesy you extended.

For me personally, Ilmryn wouldn't have been half the character he was without the presence of many, many characters, but especially without Phaerlyn. She really brought out the best in him, pushing him to heights he would not have reached without her.

In the end, Phaerlyn was a top-notch character, interesting and well-played, from the very beginning. You facilitated, created and participated in roleplay that was interesting and enjoyable for everyone involved.

A simply brilliant show from you, Rodent, and I very much look forward to your next character.

Well, it was the story of a very different drow, yet one of the best I have ever witnessed, she was deadly, and really confident of her abilities, as her personality was unique, I am really looking forward for your next character, and I am sure it will be terribly amazing!
