But- that's what I've already done. I've already knocked myself back down to pre-Knight levels, took the first one, transitioned, nothing.

I'll try and test that - but, near as I recall, my narrative is: (it's been a good few years on this character after all, so I hope to god my memory isn't failing me on this one) I have never taken Knight levels before my recent attempts at rebuilds. Ever. [Again, I certainly hope.] On taking these ...

But that's my entire problem, right now. I've never, to my recollection, chosen a Knight path - I have Kensai, yeah, but by all reports I've heard, that SHOULD overlap with class path just fine. I have never had the opportunity to choose that.

Unless there's something I'm missing, of course - like ...

What may be worth noting is that this character already is a Kensai, but that should - in theory - not affect being able to choose a class path - which should be distinct from Kensai, which is pretty class-agnostic, IIRC?

I'm attempting to relevel a legacy character to a different build, which includes a lot of Knight levels. However, the popup to select Knight path is not appearing, and I'm not sure why. It's been frustrating me to no end, as this character hasn't qualified for PDK before ...

I only met Fabian a couple times, but it was immensely fun. I'll catch you again, I'm sure.

Honestly? Just play, don't worry too much about it, and if you're consistently good at the whole RP thing, you'll be noticed for it eventually. It's just a matter of time.

Backstories are tempting to flesh out in full before you begin playing, it's true - but I find that it's generally speaking not really worthwhile, and comes across as unexpectedly hollow if you try to determine everything about your character before any of it has a chance to be played out in organic ...

It's wonderful fun every time Sydney has been involved. Few characters make such a striking impression - always something to look forward to.

Aodh provides quality by virtue of being... Uh, qualitatious. That is my sentence, and I'm sticking to it.

I'm really gonna miss Oliver. His staunchly insistent rationality combined with a great emotional depth that really played off well against Sieg's behavior - they never actually interacted on that many occasions, but it was very enjoyable every time.

It was great to see Maeve again - Kudos aplenty for that last session. And for Oliver, too, for sparring so eloquently. Great time.

Another thing - fight with Labriales was really great. Massive kudos for him for being a good PvPer who does his best to make fights entertaining and satisfying for people. It's really a fantastic thing to have when PvP is typically something that encourages winning at all costs.
