Forage command

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
    Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Forage command

-forage : a small ammount of random items can be found depending on the environment. in outdoor environs you can find firewood , herbs, water, berries, a rare chance to stumble upon something unique. Add a timer so it cannot be spammed. Skill of search, lore, spot etc, can increase the ammount maybe. Ranger, druid levels offer a rare chance of unique items. Rare herbs for instance with properties: aid, cure wounds, remove disease etc.

It would bring more toys to the table.

To avoid timers (since they seem to be bad for server lag) it could just be made a 1x1 0 weight item with X uses /rest.

Timers are fine, unless you want something to happen automatically when they expire.

For Rangers/Druids, perhaps allow their companion's search/spot scores to be added to theirs? I can' imagine a Ranger or Druid would ignore the fact that their wolf or badger has a better nose for finding things in the woods than they do.
