Brizshala shelved

Its been almost two weeks since i shelved her for a time.

While i loved playing her, it trapped me in playing her laying aside all of my other hobbies. And when i took brief weekly break i figured out play with her demands heavy time investment (upkeeping friendships, making new ones and so on). A thing i dont wish to do, so i switched to a more ad hoc character.


Thanks to all Elves and others playing along her (i wont list names, would be too numerous!). Some moments and random brief encounters were epic. Like when she stopped dancing, dressed up and dragon dropped on her head in Minmir, and suddenly out of nowhere black Archer jumped from shadows, shot dragon in five seconds, and disappeared again. Yay! Or that gnomish warlock thinking that when she is a Drow he could bring devils into party when she summons celestial being. Haha. Paladins travelling along warlock Jennie and Brizshala, and when she undressed her armour and helmet/hood/wards in the middle of dungeon to rest getting shocked and befriending their first friendly Drow. Azrael shielding her with own body from his jumpy girlfriend. Or being told that Storm who seemed to work behind scene against her (implied by several characters), in fact paid off bounty hunters from her account (and spared me of pvp, so in the end beside one single pvp encouter which was agreed she never engaged in ANY pvp). Or Manobi, who bubbled something about trading with Krenfyn and Erelyne and she got so confused until finding out Drow were visiting Wharftown and he probably thought she is just ordinary Drow! Took some time to realize that:)


At first playing outside only during nights looked hard but i got easily adjusted to it. But as i mentioned above the hardest thing was to reach her friends and keeping contact with people around required lots of time spent IG.

I am sorry to those whom i told about the eilsitraeen event. But that day i forgot keys in gaming club had to return for them which cost me four hours and it was too late to start anything. It was that moment when i figured out i should shelve her. I wanted to say goodbye least to Alara but If i played i would return to her sorry!

Elona will miss that one on one conversation. It was interesting.

Elona served as an prime example of failure and each time she would whine on things she reminded Elona to herself and gripped teeth to go on. Lol. While chaotic good, being Drow and seeing priest of own god leaving it like that when that priest is hurt was something she could never imagine . She would prefer being given out than Elona leaving Eilistraee (cause, anyone can break to pain, but betray a god, oh my!).

My character literary believed if she ever converted to anyone (being far too devoted for that), she would instantly loose her prayers and never receive new ones. So when both had that discussion back in days, she was torn apart in despise to Elona and feeling she has to help her somehow at the same time. Is why at given moments could be seen as furious about Elona leaving Eilistraee and trying to revert her choice althought respect to others choices was core of this character!

They never bumped into each other anymore so i never knew if -any- effect their discussion ever had, hah.

Brizshala did help in some ways, but Elona could never return after what happened, there will always be that point of doubt and fear, though she has put a statue of Eilistraee on display for all to see.
