I was wondering if we could make it possible for people to actually die in the Andunor Colosseum. What I was thinking was that some mechanism could be available to people in the audience to decide whether or not someone dies. Once a person is lying there with 1 HP, the audience votes for him or her to live or die. If they vote to live, the person recovers. If they vote to die, then the person becomes mortal and their opponent in the arena gets to deliver the killing blow and send them to the death area--or spare their life.
(If nothing happens within a certain time frame, the person recovers. If rendered mortal but spared, the immortality eventually comes back.)
Edit: I don't know much about scripting, but I'm wondering if this could be made possible simply by enough people uttering a sentence with the word "kill" or "live" appearing in it. If it's difficult to tell exactly where opinion falls, something could happen (like a visual effect) indicating whether or not it's possible to kill the person.
