One Year Later - Moar Dragons
So wow, it's been a whole year of Sarina Dragonsong, my first character really here on Arelith and it's been an exceptionally wild ride from start til now. Looking back at joining this server I was extremely grateful just to have a consistent experience. Having a persistent map, settlement system, and all those other wonderful storytelling locales always accessible day or night was just an amazing change from having so many tabletop groups form and then disband after either a single session or a hand full of sessions. So finding this server was a game changer for me as person.
That being said I have an excessive amount of kudos to distribute to the server as a whole, so do bear with me.
To the staff, DMs, Dev team, and the coders – First and foremost thank you. Without your fantastic work and dedication none of this would have ever been possible. For those who create, imagine, and expand upon this world year after year you have my unyielding respect and admiration.
The Cordor Guard: Jadoth Dawnfire, Stellen Varg, Mathias and Aurora Blackmoore and many more!
The earliest major faction I was able to get involved with and really to level up with, it was a wonderful experience that went a little bit further than mere mechanics. Tackling issues like morality, purpose, leadership, and cohesion as concepts were just major features for the character and me as the player that are irreplaceable lessons in my mind.
The Rebel: Rhaeg
Most didn't like putting up with him, few would tolerate him, and fewer still would even listen to what he had to say. However in spite of all odds he persists along with his Eclipse team of the rag tag crew and support that they're compromised of. The character to me lives, breathes, and bleeds for his cause and it's something I crave as a storyteller.
Drow: “The Wizard” The Xal'rae, Aunilarra Zau'myr, Viktor Zau'myr, Xy'tal Sabal
From terrifying to bewitching and enchanting, the drow personas over the in game years have been vast and varied. Tricksters, warmasters, terror infusing fiends, and even misaligned members of society, each and every drow always had something new and unique to offer without losing that mystique of being utterly ruthless deep down.
Iron Order: Sabine the Red, Arakh, Vail Dracht/Dragonsong, Serro, Ermekt, and more!
Insane, brutal, unrelenting just as the dark should be. The Underdark hasn't seen something nearly as orderly and terrifying outside of a proper drow House as their legacy continues to remain even years in game after it dissipated. Adapt or die, through and through.
And others: Jacob Swift and the Tower, Azrael, Kyle Frayer-Eldafire, Saphira Blackstone, Amadeo
There are those who either clung to the belief of redemption, or at least gave the girl a second chance. And to each of them I offer thanks in exploring that story line that really split the character into a distinct set of choices.
The Hunters: Nehala Rein, Elisha Vashti, and the Radiant Heart
Keeping the dubious natured characters accountable. No matter what comes, you have my thanks for a compelling story and conflict that is distinct and purposeful. All my respect to those who create that rift for us as characters to learn and cope with and still have a fantastic attitude about fair play and opportunities for storytelling!
So many new faces and new stories going on as well, I would try but I would genuinely struggle to list them all, my thanks extends also to: Jael, Peter Black, Elriel Dy'nesin, Alenduil, Venach, and so many, too many more.
To those who have rolled on: Vanion, Zephyr, Arael Laceflower, Viktor Zau'myr, Mathias and Aurora Blackmoore, Anden Smith, Armenius Caedre, Talon Betimere and so many more ye shall not soon be forgotten.
Whether I spent five minutes or countless hours with you, please know I thank each and every one of you for spending time with Sarina and me! Happy Holidays to all!

Sarina is definitely always interesting to run into with Yeto, always that sense of danger tempered with "I don't really think she is going to murder me, we get along well, I should be fiiiiine". Always great to RP with Sarina/you~
Hope she'll be around for a while longer, the world wouldn't be the same without Sarina!

I know it's not Talon, but here, this is for you again.
In memory of all the times Talon made snow angels in front of Sarina, even in the middle of dangerous explorations. The Man of Shadows will forever watch over the young Dragon Priestess from the plane that now swallows him. Always vigilant.
